Energen Personnel is a part of the Astec Group of companies that provides permanent and contract recruitment solutions to the oil & gas, nuclear, defence and other sectors.
We are expanding our permanent recruitment interests and seek a recruitment Business Manager with strong industry knowledge and experience of engineering recruitment from one or more of the following sectors: oil & gas, nuclear, defence, rail, aerospace, shipbuilding, etc. Candidates aith a successful cross-industry recruitment background in non-engineering disciplines may also be considered - for example, supply chain.
The role will involve the development of new business with clients in one or more of the above - as well as recruitment duties. As you make a success of the industry sector youare associated with, we will recruit additional recruitment support to assist the growth of that business stream. As the roles develops and you meet the targets set by us, the role would become a business development/management position with more limited day-to-day recruitment responsibilities.
This represents a tremendous opportunity for an ambitious recruitment professional to develop their career with a growing organisation that is firmly entrenched in two of the most secure sectors of British industry.
For this role, you may be based anywhere in the UK. We have bespoke internet based database technology which allows our business managers/consultants to work from any location throughout the UK. A driving licence and a vehicle are essential as you will meed to be mobile to visit clients, etc.
Candidates based in the Cheshire area would be able to work from our head office in Alderley Edge. Candidates based in other areas of the UK would be provided with full administrative, management and systems support for working from home.
